This has got to be the BEST place to stay in Airlie Beach, especially if you are wanting something special. We came up to celebrate our 29th anniversary and we were not disappointed. Our fully self-contained room (really more like an apartment) was immaculate, spacious and comfortable and the view from our large balcony with private jacuzzi out over the uniquely blue water with the Whitsunday Islands in the distance was nothing short of spectacular! The staff were always lovely and helpful and by the end of our 4 nights we just didn't want to come home. Highly recommend Pinnacles Resort and we will definitely be back to stay again.

Yes, it is a hard walk up the driveway, but it's good to burn some of the food and drinks consumed while on holiday 😆.Jacuzzi on the balcony is great for a couple of drinks, and the pool is nice and refreshing. When we got there the loverly lady at reception checked us in and drove us up to our room (hill is very steep). The views are astonishing. The rooms are clean. The air con icy cold. Complimentary cheese, crackers and dip in the fridge. The pool is great. Location nice and close to everything. We walk down but catch a taxi back. There’s even a taxi call button at the hotel. Just an amazing place to stay.

We just went a few days at Pinnacles for Christmas 2024 and we were so so happy with everything! We had the penthouse apartment and the views were just stunning. Having your own private hot tub on the balcony with the views was definitely the best aspect. The apartment itself was brilliant, lots of seating areas, spacious and clean. On check in we had a novelty Christmas gift with a card and items in the fridge, little cute touches I thought were really welcoming. The staff were so friendly and the pool also lovely to relax and soak in the view. Brilliant all round, we will definitely be back!

Amazing is an understatement!We stayed in room 25 and it was absolutely wonderful! We were blessed with 29 degrees every day. Waking up every morning and being able to see the sunrise was fabulous!The room was spacious, very clean & well maintained. The view speaks for itself from my video and photos attached. The huge balcony had a great size jacuzzi which we made great use of.It's located very close to all the cages, restaurants & supermarkets.In the afternoon the cockatoos cove around and they're friendly.There's also a Shared infinity pool which is very nice.We can't wait to come back here next year.

Currently staying at this property in a deluxe one bedroom seaview jacuzzi apartment and so delighted. So much space, the extensive 180 degree + views are breathtaking, cleanliness is A+ and all the little touches and comforts are perfect. We are using taxis for up to $10 to get up and down the hill which is better value than a hire car. We are so pleased with this accommodation and location for our first trip to Airlie Beach. The jacuzzi is the best!!

The apartment was great, spacious, well appointed for a comfortable and luxurious stay. We stayed two weeks at Pinnacles for our honeymoon and it was absolutely wonderful! It had everything we could want, even on days when we just wanted to stay in and watch a movie the TV had what we wanted. We also loved the friendly birds that visited and the cute geckos that came out at night. Having breakfast on the balcony every morning with the stunning views was a highlight. I would suggest hiring a car if you can as it is at the top of a steep hill so having a car made things so much easier. I was quite sad when we had to leave Pinnacles, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a special getaway.

Fantastic views from unit/room 27. There is only 1 downside to the upper rooms and that is the steepness of the driveway. Because it is built on the side of a hill unless you are extremely fit and young (not us) it requires the use of the local taxi service, which is called by pressing a button and arrive in 5 - 10 minutes. The cost is reasonable, around $8-10 down to the main St of Airlie Beach, but not sure about the wet season.

The room is fantastic, beautifully furnished, light, bright & airy throughout and perfect for a family of four.Pinnacles location is great with the main street at the bottom of the hill, but the best part is the view from the pool.I would recommend Pinnacles to anybody looking for serviced apartment type accommodation. Check out the garden view room apartment 13. Good location within the complex and reasonably priced.

We had the most amazing stay at Pinnacles Resort for our honeymoon in March. The service was fantastic, the view was beyond incredible, and for the price, you get SO much more space in the apartment than you would in one of the resorts or hotels closer to the water. We stayed for 9 nights and couldn't fault the experience. Spending time in Airlie Beach at the tail end of wet season, we did have some rain, but the spaciousness and comfort of the apartment meant we never felt closed in or claustrophobic when staying indoors. We met people on our travels that were staying at Hamilton Island, but we definitely preferred Airlie Beach for having considerably more options for food, entertainment, and activities, and Airlie was also the perfect base for plenty of tours departing from the marinas.The proximity to the main street was perfect as well - walkable and close without being right in town. Yes, the road up to reception is steep, and the route to your room is even steeper. But taxis are easily obtained from anywhere, many tours and large venues offer courtesy buses, and if you are of average fitness and without an injury, you won't find the hike too much of an issue - it even becomes pretty satisfying to say how many times you climbed it over the course of your stay! I have a chronic illness and still managed it multiple times.Thank you so much to Pinnacles Resort for being the perfect base for our jam-packed honeymoon. We loved our stay and will definitely be returning!!

The resort is of a really high standard, has stunning views and we were helped at every step by helpful staff over email. We visited on our honeymoon and the resort had lefts lots of complimentary items when we arrived which was a nice touch.The infinity pool is a really nice spot to look out over the views (we had terrible weather and it was still great). Would come back and recommend to couples looking for a break.

We booked 4 nights. Upon arrival we were met with one of the most magnificent water views you can imagine (we’ve been to Sorrento, Greece and Croatia with water views) so if it’s on par or better then that’s saying something.The apartment was lovely and clean and very comfortable. We had a huge deck. I think larger than the living area. Had the jacuzzi, day bed, six seater table, two deck chairs and a four seater bar table all located in various locations around the deck and still didn’t feel crowded.

Stayed for 6 nights in a 1 bedroom Seaview apartment. The apartment was luxurious with everything we needed. The balcony was spacious an included a hot tub. Really appreciated the welcome platter.The view was absolutely amazing and spectacular. Loved the infinity pool again with breathtaking views. Undercover car parking was provided. The location was perfect, quiet but within walking distance of all the shops and restaurants including Woolworths at the bottom of the hill.
